The “Intergalactic Ferry Project” is an audio installation that invites listeners into the fractured mind of the operator aboard Nebula 371 Space Ferry. Through a series of personal log entries, recovered by the Extraterrestrial Investigations Agency, visitors experience a metaphor laden narrative about self-discovery. The log entries echo the operator’s internal tug-of-war: the conflicting desire to fit in by letting go of certain parts of themselves, weighed against the liberating yet initially isolating experience of embracing their own emerging identity.

The installation is rooted in the artist’s personal reflections on being non-binary in a cisnormative, patriarchal society.
